UniSZA Premium Channel
The premium channel academic program is an initiative offered through commercial pathways in addition to the Main Channel provided by the Student Admission Division of Public Universities (UPU), Department of Higher Education (JPT). It serves as an alternative channel for undergraduate program admissions.
The study programs offered through the premium channel are programs conducted without subsidies. Therefore, candidates in the premium channel must make full payment of the registration fees before the student registration day.
Students need to understand the terms and conditions of admission as well as the tuition fees charged before submitting an application or accepting an offer.
The Main Differences between the Premium Channel and UPU
Students who wish to enroll in the premium channel program at UniSZA can directly choose their desired study program for admission to UniSZA through the designated premium channel.
In contrast to the UPU channel, where students can only select their preferred program, the selection and offering of programs depend on the quota and highest qualifications. Prospective students must compete with other candidates for selection into specific programs.
Differences in Fees between the Premium Channel and UPU
For tuition fees under the premium channel, students must pay the full fees without any government subsidies. On the other hand, candidates applying through the UPU channel will receive tuition subsidies provided by the Malaysian government for certain programs.
