Breast cancer is a global health concern that affects millions of individuals. Thus, research and intervention on this disease are of paramount importance. The synergistic approach of translational and holistic medicine is vital in promoting breast cancer treatment towards empirical-based, integrated, and comprehensive care.

Translational medicine aims to turn biomedical and clinical research findings into real-world applications that improve people's health. It transforms scientific discoveries from basic laboratory, clinical, or population studies into new clinical tools, processes, or applications. In contrast, holistic medicine embraces a full spectrum of health that considers the patient's physical, mental, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual dimensions by promoting overall wellness in managing and preventing diseases. 

Despite their distinct approaches, translational medicine and holistic medicine can complement each other by combining the scientific rigor and evidence-based practices of translational medicine into a whole-person approach of holistic medicine. Collaboration between practitioners and researchers in both fields has the potential to result in more comprehensive and effective healthcare strategies. 

With this intention, we call upon researchers, academicians, practitioners, agencies, the community, and students from local, Asian, and international countries to join this knowledge exchange conference. We aim to impart participants with valuable updated knowledge, foster meaningful scientific discussion, and provide a platform for networking and collaboration among the experts and enthusiasts. 

Hopefully, this conference will bring substantial insight into bridging the concepts of "from bench-to-bedside/community" and "whole-person approach" for complete breast cancer care and community well-being.
