The Used Cooking Oil and E-Waste Collection Program was held in conjunction with the UniSZA Sustainable Festival with the Community 2024, a two-day event from October 12-13 at UniSZA Besut Campus, organized by UniSZA’s Centralized Laboratory Management Centre (CLMC).

The program was conducted in collaboration with FatHopes Energy (used cooking oil), KT WAN Electronic Recycle (e-waste), and the Malaysian Department of Environment.

The program aimed to collect and recycle used cooking oil and e-waste to prevent environmental pollution and raise awareness about proper waste management. It received enthusiastic participation from UniSZA staff and the local community. A total of 147 kg of used cooking oil was collected during the program.
