| Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Ahmad Rafi is a professional technologist and professor in Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM), Multimedia University (MMU) Malaysia. He was the 4th President and CEO of MMU, and General Manager, Learning and Development at Telekom Malaysia. He graduated from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland with a bachelor’s degree in architecture (Hons.) in 1994 and later earned a MSc in Computer-Aided Building Design, and Ph.D. specialising in architectural animation and virtual reality, 1998. He held several key positions including Dean of FCM and Postgraduate Studies, Director of R&D Collaborations, Vice President (Academic), Deputy Rector (Academic Affairs) at the National Academy of Arts, Culture and Heritage (ASWARA), and Deputy Chairman 1, Creative Content Industry Guild and Board Member of The Malaysian Board of Technologists. He is currently sitting as a Board member of ASWARA. His research includes creative multimedia, virtual reality, virtual heritage, animation, visualisation and educational technology. | |
