All below requirements must be fulfilled:

University Requirement

  • Pass in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/ equivalent qualification with honours in Bahasa Melayu/ Bahasa Malaysia or honours in Bahasa Melayu/ Bahasa Malaysia Paper July
  • Pass the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of CGPA 2.50

Programme Requirement

  • Pass with at least CGPA of 3.00
  • Obtain at least Gred B (3.00) in STPM level for the following subjects:
    • Biology
    • Chemistry
    • Physic / Mathematics (M) / Mathematics (T) / Further Mathematics
  • Obtain at least a credit (Gred C)in SPM level for the following subjects:
    • Bahasa Melayu
    • English
    • Mathematics

  • Pass MUET with at least Band 3

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Senior High School/ Senior Secondary School/ Other Certifications from government schools (with the period of at least 11 or 12 years of study from primary to higher secondary); OR
  • Pass General Certificate of Education (GCE)/ A-Level; OR
  • Diploma in related field; OR
  • Any other Certificate that is recognized and approved by the Senate of the University;

AND

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) Band 5.0; OR
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL IBT) score of 45; OR
  • Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 3.

AND

FACULTY REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor of Nutrition Science (Honours) program started to receive its pioneer group of students on 29th August 2016. The program has been fully accredited by the MQA in 2020.  The recognition by MQA shows that this program was planned to attain the quality standard set by MQA and is in compliance with the MQF. In four years, the students will take up basic medical sciences, nutrition, food sciences, and social sciences courses and conduct a research project as a requirement for graduation. They will also undergo 1000 hours of industrial training during their final year. This program aims to produce nutritionists who are Knowledgeable and technically competent in nutrition discipline in-line with the government and industry requirement with the capability to solve community nutrition-related problems scientifically, creatively and ethically through sustainable approach.
